As the new Head Teacher I am pleased to welcome you to the Bannockburn High School website. The school has a proud history and the completion of the full refurbishment along with the new east wing extension provides a superb environment for learning and teaching within our school community.

We are fully committed to providing opportunities here in Bannockburn High School for every pupil to achieve success, to make friends, to discover new talents and to develop new skills. We offer opportunities for your child to take part in a wide range of activities including, sports, music, drama and cultural activities as well as the academic life of the school. In return we ask that your child shows us commitment, works hard, sets high expectations and supports the school. Our teachers and support staff are hard working, caring and devote many hours of their time to clubs and activities outside of their normal working day.

Your child(ren) will be included in one of three houses – Bruce, Stuart or Wallace – where the spirit of collaboration within the House will be fostered alongside competition across the Houses. We are an inclusive school and all pupils are expected to take part in and contribute to the activities in the school. In the senior phase, senior pupils are given greater responsibility and are expected to make major contributions to community service both within and outside the school.
