There are lots of different clubs and after school activities as well as the subjects you will be taught.
A lot of pupils bring a packed lunch with them and eat it with their friends who may have bought their lunch, it's up to you.

Im going to high school next and my question is, when and how much homework do we get in a regular week?
9 February 2011

Admin comments
The amount of homework varies week by week and also by subject. A more consistent approach is being formulated for the start of next year. This should make it easier to plan out your time and give you the best chance of asking for help if needed.

There are usually a few people from your P7 class in every class you go to. You can see all your pals at interval and lunch. It's also a great time to make lots of new friends.

i am scared to get lost i do not want to go to high school. is it scary the first time

It sounds scary but it is very exciting as well. You wont get too lost as there are lots of senior pupils about to help you find your way around and there is also the 3 day visit in June to help you get over any nerves.

whats the alternative to using the fingerprint recognition system at lunch time ?

You can ask for a swipe card, but everyone uses the fingerprint method because you can never lose or forget it!

Don't worry there will be senior pupils allocated to your class to show you round and make sure you don't get lost.

Hope you enjoy your visit.

Hello I'm Alba and I'm French. I'm coming to Bannockburn High in August. Will I have to do French at school and will I get help with my English

P.S. My mum helped me write this

Admin comments   I'm sorry that I taken so long to answer this question. You will get help with your English and the school is used to helping pupils who do not use English as their first language. I'm not sure about studying French, it might be fun being an expert in class and helping out your classmates.

You are normally put in a class that is a mixture of people from the different primaries, so I'm sure there will be some people who you will know. There are lots of things to do at interval and lunch including using the all weather pitch.
