We raised a total of £369.01 for Sense Scotland with the help of pupils and teachers. Thank you everyone that donated to this worthwhile cause.
Special thanks to Scott Cowie who helped the ACE group by playing guitar to accompany Kirsten’s singing even though he was not part of ACE.
There will be a Scholastic Book Fair in school for all S1-S3 pupils from Tuesday 27th September – 4th October. This will be held in the library with pupils being timetabled during English periods.
Find out what day you will be visiting the Book Fair and bring some money along. There will be lots of brilliant books for sale:
Food Festival
The ACEvents Group will be running a Tombola Stall at the Food Festival on Sunday 2nd October. We would be grateful for any donations (with an eco-friendly theme if possible) for this event. Please see Mrs Mackay or Mrs Mackinnon, or any member of the ACE group if you can help.
Bannockburn High’s ACEvents Group organised for Hopscotch Theatre Company to perform Tam O Shanter to all S1 pupils on Friday 4th February. This was an exciting way to learn more about the Robert Burns and understand the Old Scots language used in his poem. Our thanks to the Determined to Succeed Group who paid for the event.
