Course Description
The course consists of 2 mandatory units:

Financial Accounting
- Management Accounting
The aim of the course is to build on the knowledge, understanding,
information-handling skills and practical abilities gained in Standard Grade
Accounting.
Assessment
To gain the award of the candidate must achieve all the component units of
the courses as well as the external assessment.
The external assessment will be a written paper of 2 hours duration.
Progression
Candidates may progress to Higher Accounting and Finance after completing
the course in Intermediate 2 Accounting and Finance.
