The environmental campaign is aimed at using as many green spaces as possible in and around Stirling to sow nectar rich wildflowers, with the aim of providing readily available food sources for ailing bee populations.
Bannockburn High school to sow up approx 400sq metre of wildflowers in the next couple of weeks
with the aid of volunteers from the Eco-group.
The project has been funded through donations from a number of local businesses, including Superglass, Belhaven, Graham’s the Family Dairy, Value Tyres, STOMP show shop and United Closures & Plastics.
