It is important to reduce, reuse and recycle our waste in order to protect
our environment. Currently we recycle all our paper and plastic on a weekly
basis using a company called ORAN. The committee is investing in a selection of
new and different types of bins for the school.
The school is taking part in the Yellow Woods Challenge, run by the Yellow
Pages and the Woodland Trust.
Litter is waste in the wrong place such as on the pavement, the school field,
and the school corridors.
The committee is seeking pupils to help the committee. It is important that we
raise the awareness of this issue in our school. Please help us to reuse,
recycle and reduce our waste. Every classroom has a paper salvage sack and
around the school there are also sacks for recycling plastic bottles.
