Standing alongside other organisations such as Women’s Aid and Central Scotland Police, the Amnesty Group will promote the White Ribbon Campaign. This campaign encourages everyone to take action against the many acts of violence towards women.

The group will give out information and white ribbons to pupils in the school in an effort to raise awareness of this important issue. In addition, we will join the White Ribbon March on Thursday 9th December at 6pm from the Castle esplanade to Viewforth Council offices.

Last year Bannockburn High was the only school represented and those who attended were proud to stand up for the rights of all people in Scotland: both men and women. Show you care by wearing the white ribbon.  whiteribbonscotland.org.uk
