Bannockburn High’s Amnesty International Group meets every second Wednesday
lunchtime in room 308. Amnesty is a worldwide organisation that campaigns for
justice and human rights.
Our campaigns have included :
“Stop Violence against Women”
“Keys to Freedom”
“Blood Diamonds”
In the past we have
written letters to different governments around the world, including the
President of the U.S.A. concerning the situation in Guantanamo Bay.
We hope to be involved
in many more of Amnesty International’s Campaigns.
