Human Rights Day 10th December

Human Rights Day is a chance to promote awareness of human rights issues throughout the world. Bannockburn High’s Amnesty International group have a display in the schools’ viewing area informing staff and pupils about human trafficking and slavery.

At the moment Amnesty UK are campaigning to include Human Rights Education into the school curriculum or to, at least, give more focus and more resources to it in schools.
