Amnesty Fundraiser
The school’s Amnesty International Group will be collecting old mobile phones to recycle. The phones can be in any state of repair – Amnesty will receive £5 for each. If you have an old phone at home, please help us by bringing it along to Room 308 (Mrs Mackay) or bring it along at lunch time to our Party on Friday 30th in the lecture theatre.
Book and Video Sale 2009
On Thursday 4th and Friday 5th March 2010 Bannockburn High School’s Amnesty International Group held their annual Book Sale in celebration of World Book Day. There was a variety of books ranging from child and adult fiction to non-fiction. The books were priced from 50p alongside Amnesty pencils and badges. The Sale was a big success with the Group raising a total of £150 which will be donated to the work of Amnesty International. The remainder of the books not sold will be given to local charity shops.
Many thanks to all those pupils and staff who came
along to support the event.
