The S3 boys football team played their first game of the season against
Falkirk High. Unfortunately they lost 5-3 but excellent goals were scored by
Dean Kemp (2) and Mark Milne.

Congratulations to the S3 football team for beating Balfron High School 1-0.
The team played extremely well creating several good chances. However it was
Ross McGeachie who score the vital winner, rising like a salmon to score a
bullet headed from a wonderful pin point cross supplied by Stuart Esplin
wide on the left.
Man of the Match was too close to call however Lee Miller, playing centre
half put in a solid display and Stuart Esplin, caused mayhem in the Balfron
defence and both quite rightly earned, Men of the Match awards.
