S5/6 Study Leave

Study leave for S5/6 began today. Pupils should attend school only when they have an exam or where they have made prior arrangements with staff.

Mock Election

In conjunction with Google elections, the school held its own mock election last Thursday to raise political awareness and encourage participation. Pupils had the opportunity to vote for the six candidates who were standing in the Stirling constituency.

Using the First Past the Post System, Anne McGuire was returned as MP, with Graham Reid of the Liberal Democrats coming second.
The school had a 62% turnout rate.

Final Reports

The final set of reports for this session are the full reports for S1. Staff are completing these this week and pupils will be having interviews with their Pupil Support Teachers over the coming weeks to discuss their reports. Reports will be sent out to parents and carers after this has taken place.

P.S.A. Prize Draw

Congratulations to the winners of the April draw.

The £50 prizes were won by Joyce Lewis (Parent) and Gordon McClune (Staff).

Musical Cabaret

There will be a cabaret evening held in the school on Wednesday 9th June featuring musical items from the past 7 school shows, including Grease, Oliver and Joseph. Pupils, past and present, will be performing, along with the schools Glee Club. Tickets will be available prior to the event.

London Trip

A reminder to parents and carers of those pupils participating in the excursion to London that there will be an information evening, tonight at 7pm, in the school social area.
