S4 Interviews/Reports
The final S4 reports have been completed by staff and were discussed with
pupils during the course of last week. The reports will be sent to
parents/carers in due course.
S5/6 Prelims
The main diet of examinations runs from Wednesday 27th January until Tuesday
2nd February inclusive. Pupils have been issued with timetables.
Tanzania Link
The school is in the very early stages of linking with Mwebetogwa Secondary
School in Tanzania. Last week we received a school magazine from Tanzania,
outlining the current events that have taken place within the school. We are
at present putting together something similar to return to Tanzania.
London Trip (February 2010)
The Parents’ Information Evening for those pupils participating in the trip
to London during the February break will take place on Monday 25th January
at 7pm in the Music Department. Any further details can be obtained from Mrs
Millar.
Mobile Phones
The Amnesty group are still collecting old mobile phones and wondered if you
got a new phone for Christmas this year. If so, please consider recycling
your old phone for a good cause. Each phone is worth £5 to Amnesty. Phones
should be taken to Mrs Mackay in the English department.
