NHS Conference
4 pupils from Bannockburn High participated in the Sex Factor event at the
Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow. The pupils learned about the work of the NES
Young People’s Public Partnership forum and the aims of the Government
regarding Sexual Health and Relationships as well as finding out about the
latest health initiatives.
The conference began with an interactive quiz
before the pupils took part in 3 workshops on Contraception & Pregnancy, STIs & HIV and the Media & Relationships. They were able to put forward
their views on the way sexual health is taught in school in order to
influence future planning.
