Sponsored Walk
The whole school will be participating in a sponsored walk today (Wednesday)
to raise money for school funds. This will also be the first inter-house
event of the session. Points will be allocated to all pupils who participate
and points and prizes will be given to those pupils who collect the most
money.
Macmillan Coffee Morning
The Charities Committee will be hosting a coffee morning tomorrow (Thursday)
for staff at interval in the staffroom and a pupil raffle is also being held
to raise money for the worthwhile charity. Pupils can buy a raffle ticket
for £1 and prizes include cinema passes, bowling passes and vouchers.
London – February 2010
Pupils participating in the trip to London in February have been issued with
payment cards should they wish to make instalments. Any payments should be
taken to Mrs Millar in Room 29. The remainder of the balance should be paid
in full by January 8th 2010.
School Show - ‘Grease’
Rehearsals are under way for the forthcoming school show. The show will take
place in the school lecture theatre on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th
December 2009. Tickets will be available in due course.
S3 Football
Congratulations to the S3 boys football team who beat Wallace High 3-2 last
week. Goals from Jamal Farid(1) and Conner Donegan(2) secured the win. Man
of the match was Grant Roberts.
Extra Curricular Clubs
All extra curricular clubs are up and running. Every pupil has a copy of the
timetable, please come along and join in the fun.
October Holiday
A reminder to parents and carers that school will close at 3.35pm tomorrow
(Thursday) and reopen at 8.55am on Monday 19th October for the mid term
holiday.
