Sponsored Walk
The whole school will be participating in a sponsored walk on Wednesday 7th
October to raise money for school funds. This will also be the first
Interhouse event of the session. Points will be allocated to all pupils who
participate and points and prizes will be given to those pupils who collect
the most money.
Photographer
There was a lot of smiling in the school last week as every pupil in S1, S3,
S5/6 had their picture taken by the school photographer. Photos will
hopefully be available prior to the October holiday.
Refurbishment Update
This week saw an important milestone in the refurbishment programme. All
Home Economics and most of Design Technology classes returned to the new
facilities in the main building.
School Show - ‘Grease’
Rehearsals are under way for the forthcoming school show. The show will take
place in the school lecture theatre on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th
December 2009. Tickets will be available in due course.
European Day Of Languages
This Friday the school will celebrate European Day of Languages, whereby all
Modern Language classes will be taught in a different language from what
they normally study. Staff and pupils are also being encouraged to speak in
other languages, even if it is merely to greet each other! Join in the fun –
greet your friends, family and colleagues with Bonjour!, Hola! or Guten
Tag!.
Extra Curricular Clubs
All extra curricular clubs are up and running. Every pupil has a copy of the
timetable, please come along and join in the fun.
