S1 Top P.E. Performers
Top performers in S1 PE have been identified recently and formed the ‘Top
Class’. They were rewarded on Wednesday 27th by spending the entire morning
in the P.E. department, taking part in a variety of activities. Well done to
all!
SQA Examinations
The SQA examinations continue this week with Geography
(Wednesday), Biology, Graphic Communication and Science tomorrow (Thursday),
Standard Grade Accounting & Finance, (Monday) and Intermediate, Higher and
Advanced Higher Accounting and Finance and History (Tuesday).
Copacabana
Rehearsals for this year’s school show ‘Copacabana’ are progressing well. A
cast of around 40 pupils in S1 – S6 are working extremely hard under the
direction of Mr Millar, Ms Henry and Miss Allardyce. Performances of the hit
musical will take place on 16th, 17th and 18th June. Tickets will be

M+ Prefect Training
Preparations are under way for the training day which will involve the M+
prefects for the coming session. This will take place on Wednesday 10th June
at the Mayfield Centre between 1.30pm and 3.30pm. Letters will be issued to
pupils/parents and carers shortly with full details of the event.
Activities
The school will be a lot quieter over the next few days as a great number of
pupils are taking part in trips to Alton Towers and a 3 day excursion to
London.
