M&D's
The top performers in S1-3 enjoyed a trip to M&D’s theme park last week. The
M+ Positive Motivation scheme exists to recognise pupils who consistently
maintain high standards in attendance, behaviour, dress, equipments and
puntuality. Thanks go to Mr. McLune and the M+ committee for organising the
trips and to all staff who supervised.
Geography Farm Visit
The S3 standard Grade geography class has just
completed a unit on farming and to make everything they learnt come to life
they took a trip to local farms. The farms, The Bield and Knock O’ Ronald,
were in Gargunnock. They had a great time looking at the different ways each
of the farmers used their land. The Knock O Ronald farm was very high and
steep and so could only be used for sheep farming. At The Bield farm – the
land was much flatter and so could be used for crops and cattle. They also
enjoyed travelling in the trailers and wearing dairy cattle patterned wellie
boots! They would like to thank RHET and the farmers at The Bield and Knock
O Ronald for an interesting and enjoyable visit.
Copacabana
Rehearsals for this year’s school show ‘Copacabana’ are progressing well. A
cast of around 40 pupils in S1 – S6 are working extremely hard under the
direction of Mr Millar, Ms Henry and Miss Allardyce. Performances of the hit
musical will take place on 16th, 17th and 18th June. Tickets will be
available shortly. For full details click
