S1 Parent Teacher Interviews
The S1 Parents evening takes place on Monday 19th
January between 4.15pm and 6.45pm. Pupils should arrange appointments with
staff prior to the event.
London Trip ( February 2009 )
The Parents’ Information Evening for those pupils participating in the trip
to London during the February break will take place on Wednesday 11th
February at 7pm in the school staffroom. Any further details can be obtained
from Miss Allardyce.
PSA Prize Draw
Congratulations to the winners of the December prize draw who were Mrs
Livingston, Mrs Kirkwood and Mr Jodeluk (parents/friends of the school) and
Mrs Nicol, Mr Leitch and Miss Jeffrie (staff). Thanks to Mrs Duncan for
making the draw.
Assemblies
There were assemblies for each year group last week, to welcome pupils to
the year 2009 and a new term. The priorities for the term were outlined and
emphasis was laid on maintaining high standards of behaviour in and out of
class and achieving consistency of effort in studying. Details were also
given regarding S2 option choices and possible changes to school dress.
Presepe Vivente
During the final week of school S2 pupils turned the Modern Languages
department into their own living nativity scenes and performed for visiting
groups of staff and pupils. Well done to all those involved and thanks to
the Modern Languages department for organising the event.
Fair Trade
Thanks to all staff and pupils who supported the Fairtrade group in the last
week of term. The winners of the raffle were Stephani Reeley, Nikki Cannon
and Miss Baxter.
