Little Shop Of Horrors
First class, professional and most definitely amazing
were the words used to described BHS’s excellent production of ‘Little Shop
of Horrors’. The unforgettable songs, fun lyrics and music expertly
performed by a highly talented cast of pupils from S1 – S6, had the audience
captivated from beginning to end. The visually stunning set, complete with a
man eating plant, added extra sparkle to an already glittering evening.
Daniel Mooney, perfect in his role as Seymour, gave an outstanding
performance as did Amber Howland as Audrey. Calum Frickleton added humour in
his role as the Dentist as did Rebecca McGhie as Mrs Mushnik. Toni Bruce,
Sheryl Hillhouse, Sammy Kerr, Joanna McConnachie, Claire Campbell and Elaine
Robertson impressed the audience with their harmonious singing and quick
costume change. The talent, effort and teamwork of cast and crew were
evident for all to see on the night. Every member of the team should be
commended for treating the audience to a night to remember, a powerful
production which left us uplifted and hardly able to wait for next year’s
production, ‘Copacabana’.
