Fairtrade Week

Preparations are underway for the Fairtrade Week which takes place in the school between the 3th and 7th March. The purpose of the week is to raise awareness of the Fairtrade movement which is working to improve terms and conditions for producers in many countries. Events to look forward to include a tasting stall in the social area during morning intervals (including free samples of chocolate and other Fairtrade products), a raffle, competitions, special themed lessons, and workshops with a Fairtrade producer from Africa. Look out for more information on posters and in next week’s Inform.
