S1 Parent Teacher Interviews
The S1 Parents evening takes place 0n the 14th January between 4.15pm and
6.45pm. Pupils should have arranged appointments with staff prior to the event.
Scottish Parliament Visit
The S4 Modern Studies pupils travelled to Edinburgh last week to visit the
Scottish Parliament. The pupils were met by the researcher of Richard Simpson
M.S.P. before being taken on a tour of the entire building visiting the M.S.P.
office block, where a number of pupils sat in the ‘contemplation pods’. The
pupils returned to the debating chamber in the afternoon to watch Question Time
and then held their own Question and Answer session, with Bruce Crawford M.S.P.
and Claire Baker M.S.P. Finally the pupils met with the Education Officer who
provided important information regarding the workings and principles of the
Scottish Parliament. A fantastic experience for all!
New Year - New You
The extra curricular timetable has been revised and will begin again at the
end of January. Any pupil who doe not attend clubs should feel free to go along.
The timetable will be distributed to form classes in the first week back
P.S.A. Prize Draw
Congratulations to the winners of the December Prize Draw.

Welcome Back Assemblies
The term began with Rector welcoming back each year group as a serried of
assemblies House Heads outlined the priorities for the term ahead.
