Rector's Newsletter

The Rector’s newsletter for December has been issued this week. Included is important information regarding arrangements for the end of term, ongoing work to the extension and further meetings of the Parent Council. The newsletter also outlines information regarding the new ‘Headteacher’s Open Hour’, whereby parents can ‘drop-in’ to speak with the rector on any matter of interest. Gift Aid

The school’s charities committee have finalised their collections in form classes and pupils have now selected the gifts they wish to purchase from the Christian Aid ‘Present Aid’ Catalogue. A whole range of gifts have been purchased from disaster survival kits to ‘three little pigs’.
 

Christmas Concert

The school Christmas Concert will be held tonight (Wednesday) in the School Lecture Theatre at 7.30pm. The concert will involve over 150 pupils from S1 to S6 sharing their musical talents. Tickets are available at the door, priced £3 for adults and £1.50 for concessions.


Christmas Dances

The S1 Christmas Party will take place within the school on Tuesday 18th December and the S2 party will take place on Thursday 20th December, both between 2pm and 3.15pm. The Senior Dance will take place in Stirling Rugby Club on Wednesday 19th December. Tickets for all three can be purchased during registration.

 

Blood Transfusion Service

The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service will visit the school next Tuesday to make a presentation to S6 pupils on the importance of becoming a Blood Donor.

 

Senior Interhouse Sports Event

Last Tuesday our senior pupils enjoyed an afternoon of sporty events despite the memorable weather conditions. Results were: Stewart House 540 points, Bruce House 480 points and Wallace House 450 points. For a full report click here.
