S4 Prelims
The S4 prelims continue this week. Pupils are reminded that they should only
attend school when they have an exam. Study leave ends next Monday and pupils
should return to school on Tuesday 11th December.
Christmas Concert
Tickets are available for the Christmas Concert which will be held in school
on the evening of Wednesday 12 December, priced £3 for adults, £1.50 for
children and senior citizens and a family ticket costing £7 for 2 adults and 2
children.
S1 Boys Football
Well done to the S1 Boys football squad who came second in the 7- a- sides
tournament last week held at Lornshill Academy. Bannockburn achieved victories
over St Modans and Lornshill but were narrowly beaten 1-0 by the eventual
winners Alva Academy. Goals were scored by Alexander Gordon, Jonathon Murphy,
Jamal Farid and Conor Donegan. Well done to all involved and especially to Conor
Donegan who was player of the tournament.
Senior Interhouse Competition
The senior pupils took part in inter-house activities yesterday, competing
in various events. Full report in next week’s news.
PSA Prize Draw
The first PSA prize draw of this session took place last Friday. The winners
of the £50 prizes were Miss Rice (staff) and Mrs Nicol (Parent). Thanks to Ms
Masters of the English department for making the draw.
