Bannockburn's Got Talent
Auditions were held last week for Bannockburn’s answer to the recent TV
show. Pupils in S1-6 have been now been selected to showcase their talents,
at two performances, which will take place on Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd
October in the school Lecture Theatre at 7.30pm, tickets priced £4. Further
details regarding finalised acts will appear prior to the event.
P7 Open Night
The P7 open night will take place on Monday 17th September. This is a
wonderful opportunity for pupils and parents to visit individual departments and
meet with staff and pupils prior to commencing S1.
Photographer
The photographer will be visiting the school today (Wednesday). All S1, S3,
S5 and S6 will have individual photographs taken and there will be a group
photograph of Sixth Year.
Interhouse Competition
The S2 inter house competition will take place on Friday of this week with
pupils competing in water polo, touch rugby, fitness factory and basketball.
Results will appear next week.
Sports News - Extra Curricular Programme
The extra curricular programme is now up and running with various activities
and events on offer during lunch and after school. These range from dance,
girls’ health club, swimming and rugby to five-a-side, boys health club,
badminton. All pupils from S1-6 have a variety of options to attend and for any
further information should contact the PE department.
