SUMMER HOLIDAY
Pupils and staff have been busy rehearsing this week for the annual show
‘Summer Holiday’. Tickets are on sale priced £5 for adults, £3 for children and
senior citizens and £14 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children). Tickets
will be on sale for the rest of the week in Room 210 from 1.20 – 1.40pm.
BOOKS ABROAD
Books Abroad is a charity which distributes books to schools in countries where
these are in short supply. They are currently looking for donations of books,
which should be less than 10 years old and in good condition. There is
particular demand for maths and science textbooks but children’s fiction and
textbooks on world geography, technical education and business education would
also be welcome. Any suitable material can be handed into the library.
P7 VISIT
Approximately 140 P7 pupils will visit the school next Wednesday, Thursday and
Friday. During this time, they will meet with their new classes, teachers and
generally familiarize themselves with the school before the permanent move in
August.
