S1 Football
Congratulations to the boys in the S1 football team who triumphed 3-1 over Braes
High last Thursday (22nd). Goal scorers on the night were Mark Milne, Dean Kemp
and Alan Paton.
Player of the match was Drew Reynolds. Well done to all the boys
who took part.
Charities Week
This week sees the Charities Committee make a final push to raise £7000
in the course of the session. There will be various stalls over the course
of the next three days at lunchtimes and other activities such as Bingo and
Tombola culminating on Friday with a non-uniform day. There will also be an
Easter assembly in the afternoon on Friday, geared towards S4-S6. At this
special assembly there will be guest speakers from CHAS (Children’s Hospice
Association Scotland and Riding for the Disabled.) The money raised during
Charities week will be split equally between CHAS and the Riding for the
Disabled.
London Trip 2007
A reminder to parents and carers that the full balance of the trip should be
paid by the end of this week. Details of an information evening will be
distributed after the Easter break.
Dance Competition
A large number of girls took part in the Stirling & Clackmannanshire schools
dance competition on Monday night. The girls had been rehearsing for a number of
weeks organising music and costumes and perfecting routines. Full details and
results will appear after the Easter break.
Easter Holidays
The school will close for the Easter break on Friday 30th at 3.35pm and
re-open to pupils on Monday 16th April at 8.55am.
