All Higher History pupils should be carrying out research and note taking for their extended essay. Remember, examiners like to see originality so try to take a trip to the local library or use Google Scholar to access books and articles which are different from those in school.

The deadline dates below are your opportunity to gain feedback on how your essay is progressing. Please ensure you meet every deadline date. If you need any advice on any aspect of your essay then please come to see me.

Friday 24th February: Notes and basic plan

Thursday 1st March: Introduction and 3 paragraphs

Thursday 9th March: First complete draft

Friday 16th March: Final version completed

Possible date for official write up under timed conditions: Monday 26th March
